Outside of work Nazia balances motherhood and family with her professional career. She volunteers with the Fiji Girmit Association, supporting the Fiji-Indian community. She previously coached youth soccer and cricket at Lynfield College. She also has an insect collection and herbarium, reflecting her background in biology and biosecurity, and loves planning family events.
